Chupps: one store for India, one for the world
Chupps makes natural rubber flip-flops and sliders. I worked with them from 2021 to 2024, and it ended here: a global store that prices itself for your country, and an Indian store that moved off Shopify with its customers, orders and reviews.
The brief
Chupps sells flip-flops, sliders and V-straps in India and abroad, with licensed collections for teams like Mumbai Indians.
The global store launched on WordPress in autumn 2023. In January 2024 the Indian store followed it off Shopify, so both ran on one platform Chupps owned.

Prices in your currency
The global store finds your country from your IP, shows prices and shipping in your currency, and sends visitors from India to the Indian store.

PayPal, Stripe and Razorpay, each shown only where it works.

Off Shopify, without losing anyone
Customers, orders and reviews brought across from Shopify with importers we wrote, so accounts and order history came too.

The homepage and campaign pages as editor blocks: hero banners, product carousels, testimonials, a style quiz, marketing popups, and pages for collaborations like Mumbai Indians.
